  • Field work on sea-bed processes under waves
  • Sediment transport under water waves
  • The Boundary element method and its applications to non-linear water wave problems.
  • Laboratory experimental work on water waves and their effects. Large-scale experimental work in UK Coastal Research Facility and Dutch Deltaflume.
