Milla has a wide range of experience within academia and industry both nationally and internationally and now works across the Pharmaceutical, Food and Drink and Energy sectors in addition to traditional Chemical Engineering areas.

She works closely with partners on a range of activities including academic-industrial partnerships, contract projects, technology translation, development of business opportunities and facilitation of collaborative research initiatives at local, regional, national and international level.

Based in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, she is well placed to liaise and facilitate developmental opportunities across wide ranging science and engineering disciplines as well as across the University campus and with industry for cross/multi-disciplinary projects.
